This is a drone piece that I am perhaps unreasonably proud of. I wanted to challenge myself to make something that was monolithic and unchanging on a macro level for an hour, but on a micro level is full of constant activity and change. This piece is that: no two seconds are exactly alike when one concentrates on listening and yet the whole thing is a totally featureless mass of sound when listened to as a whole. I made this by layering together loops that I used to soundtrack the YTMND parts of an old project, The Hauntology of Memes. The title refers to the fictional Latvian mathematician that appears in that piece, Dr Ozoliņš.
